Jaeger was kind of the jumping-off point for my Burning Wheel character, and since I kinda got left in the dust by all the better role-players last night, a re-read of Finder is in order.

The letterpress type poster I've been futzing with for a couple weeks is now for sale in our new Etsy shop. There are also some terrific prints from James, and more to come. Seriously, though, I need to know if anyone's as amused by that poster as I am.

At the coffee shop with the 8th-grader I'm mentoring in comic making, reviewing her full-size thumbnails. A guy carrying a baby had to "eyedrop (like eavesdropping, but looking)" on her work — he's a teacher at another high school, graphic novels a part of his curriculum. But had to stop 'cause he was so impressed with her comic.

Another Super Bowl, another afternoon of passing judgment on ads and listing comics on eBay.

A marathon viewing of the last four Dollhouse eps last night, after spending a couple weeks watching the final season. Yes, it's a shame that yet another Whedon show couldn't get the numbers to sustain it, but I think having to wrap it so quickly helped focus. Sad to see it end, but not about the way it concluded.
